one step at a time

I am pleased that, for once, I am doing a decent job of sticking to my weight/health related resolution (or resolution like set of goals). I may get the chance to go salsa dancing later today. I might also be able to sneak in a run at the Y. You know, if I get myself together enough to make sure that I drop my son of at his dad's apartment in time to get back to the Y allowing enough time for a workout. Also, I would have to make sure that I had the salsa attire at the ready so that I could go dance after the run. Is anyone else tired just thinking about it?

I have a fitness assessment scheduled for Monday, March 2. I am a little excited about this because I know that I am stronger and have better cardio endurance than the last time that I went in for an assessment. However, I also know that I could stand to lose quite a bit more body fat. The point of the fitness assessment for me though is to help me set goals and keep on track with these goals. Says she who is patiently waiting for the bread she is baking to rise. But, at least it has some whole wheat in it.
